Daniel Thomas - 2nd Euphonium

Daniel started playing the cornet in our Junior Band at the age of 7 but quickly moved onto the euphonium. He achieved his grade 5 distinction at the age of 12 and gained some contesting experience at Darwen Brass before being given the chance to join his brother and dad in B&D.

His first contest was the 1st section National Finals at Harrogate and under the guidance of Nick Sheppard and Bill Millar, his euph teacher, he hopes one day to become a really good player. He is thoroughly enjoying being a member of B&D and is making the most of being sat between Gaz and Shaz!

and will now be known as Daz!!
