3rd Cornet
Craig started playing at the age of 11 on Bb Bass for Haydock Youth Brass Band (now known as Valley Brass). It took only a few months to move to cornet, the once in the 'A' Band moved quickly to soprano cornet unitl he resigned from playing at the age of 14.
Seven years went by; trying his hand a various hobbies, until he made the decision to pick up a Brass Instrument again at the age of 21. He once again signed for Valley Brass and was appointed 3rd solo cornet. In January 2008 he played at the opening ceremony for the Liverpool Capital of Culture at the Liverpool Echo Arena. He was then appointed Repiano Cornet and enjoyed the position up until he moved to B & D in March 2009 where he was appointed 3rd Cornet.
Craig intends to study at the University of Salford starting in 2010, after seeing playing as not just a hobby but as a possible career too. He is studying towards his Grade 8 Theory and Practical which hs is to do at the beginning of 2010 before he goes to University.
His interests besides Banding are Golfing and Rugby League.
