Eb Bass - Kevin Stringfellow

Kevin started playing at the age of seven with Coppull Subscription Prize Band. He has previously played for Chorley Silver, Warburton’s, Skipton, Morecambe and most recently Nelson.

Kevin is a very versatile player and has had spells playing many Brass Band instruments including Cornet, BBb Bass and Baritone, amongst others. His last appearance with Nelson prior to joining Blackburn & Darwen was on Soprano Cornet!

Highlights of his Brass Banding experience include three appearances at the National Finals, performing in Birmingham Symphony Hall and playing his favourite test-piece, English Heritage.

Although he shares a surname with our Bb Bass player, Tommy, and attended the same school as him, they are not related!
