Sharon Meredith - Solo Baritone

Sharon hails from Abergavenny in South Wales where at the age of 9 she started playing with the Abergavenny Borough Band. She also played with the Gwent Youth Brass Band and the National Youth Band of Wales.

Sharon moved 'up north' to study Band Musicianship at Salford University and came out with a degree in Banding and Drinking.

Previous bands include Wingates, Marple, Fodens and Leyland. Sharon joined Blackburn and Darwen Band in 2005 and thoroughly enjoys being part of a friendly and ambitious team.
