Why you are needed

The Patrons scheme has been set up as part of a determined effort by the band to lift our financial position and boost support from the local community. Unlike most other local bands, we have a three tier organisation which means considerable costs, including:

 Replacement and repair of instruments  Insurance

 Music  Hire of coaches

 Uniforms  Stationery

Support from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, donations from individuals, concerts, local sponsors, social events, and even playing Christmas Carols outside Shops & in Pubs have all helped us to achieve our current position. Whilst we are a non-profit making organisation we do need to invest in our band if we are to continue to support and nurture our young players and compete at the highest level of the local Brass Band scene.

Benefits of membership

 For only £12 a year you will receive:

Free Tickets to two concerts per year

'B & D News' - A quarterly newsletter keeping you informed about the

  Band’s activities.

Business Patrons

For a minimum donation of £100 a year, Business Patrons will receive all the above, plus:

An invitation to an annual Social Event including a meal and entertainment

An acknowledgement in our concert programmes

Your company logo featured on this website incorporating a link to your

  own site.
