Rob Speakman - Principal Cornet

Rob rejoined the band in 2004 after a 3 and a half year stint at Wingates. He started playing the cornet with Farnworth Old Band when he was 12 years old before emigrating to Bath Spa Band in 1989. He then joined Southampton Central in 1994 before returning to the north of England in 1996 to play with B & D.

Rob previously played flugel with us before moving onto principal in August 2009.
